What Are Poker Flashcards?
A PokerAC flashcard is a question on the front and an answer on the back — usually a poker concept, a leak to watch for, or the reasoning behind a decision, rather than a simple fact. You read the question, try to recall the answer yourself before flipping the card, then check what you got.
That act of trying to recall the answer first — rather than just re-reading notes — is what makes flashcards a study tool for poker strategy, not just a glossary.
How PokerAC Flashcards Work
- Pick a card set — PokerAC's default library, or your own — filtered by game type or tag if you want to focus.
- Read the question on the front and try to answer it before looking.
- Flip the card to see the answer on the back.
- Grade yourself — Again, Hard, Good, or Easy — and the review scheduler decides when you'll see that card again based on how well you knew it.
Learn Poker with Spaced Repetition
Spaced repetition poker study just means the schedule adapts to you: mark a card "Again" and it comes back soon; mark it "Easy" and it comes back much later. Over time the cards you actually struggle with show up more often, and the ones you've got down stop wasting your time.
Daily Review shows only the cards that are due today — the routine that keeps everything fresh. Practice lets you drill any set on demand without touching that schedule, useful as a warm-up before a session.
